This prototype includes only those law schools that have been recognized for legal-service delivery innovation and technology courses, research and development, field work, and industry engagement. We differentiate between “legal-service delivery innovation and technology” and teaching “law and [technology]” courses; a “law and” class is insufficient alone to make this first list. When applying our criteria, we erred on the side of exclusion–that is, we included a law school only if we found evidence in its course descriptions of teaching students about at least one of the foundational legal-service delivery disciplines that we’ve identified. At a later date, we will release our research on all 200+ law schools.
